The Rules

The Rules:

You must used the packaged lot. It has been completely cleaned and is ready for your game free of hacks, downloads, etc.

You can only play the lot for 2 hours Real Time. You don't have to play 2 hours straight, you can break up your time.

Your Sim is not allowed to leave the lot.

No cheats, hacks, or mods are allowed.

No phones are allowed.

No move-ins are allowed.

No services are allowed, this includes Maid, Bugman, Matchmaker and adoption.

It must be blogged (for our viewing pleasure. If you plan on playing this challenge and haven't yet, you can not read the blogs!)

The Score:

5 pts. for every rank you gain in the business.

1 pt. for bronze badges you gain

2 pts. for silver badges you gain

3 pts. for gold badges you gain (if you have a gold sales badge, you do not get the credit for getting the bronze and silver as well)

1 pt. for every $10,000 gained

There are 10 EXTRA BONUS pts. that can be awarded at the end of the challenge, but they can not be disclosed at this time.

The Making Of...

Jan Wellington is a Sim currently in my Generations Challenge. Since the OFB Challenge was pretty much created for the Queen of OFB, JavaJan, I decided my Jan character would be the perfect Sim to head this challenge. Jan had already completed what I needed her to in my Generations challenge, so we moved her out to her own lot.

She walks to the taxi eager to start her own Challenge. Poor thing has no idea what's in store for her!

Before I can release the challenge to our group, I first have to get some Sims mad at Jan. I found out, if you constantly ask Sims who just came to do a little shopping and don't have a good relationship score, to work for you, it ticks them off. Notice the reporter there? Yeah, we didn't get a very good review, lol.


While Jan is busy annoying the reporter, the last customer left in the shop decides he's had it. He throws down his bags and walks out. By this time the business was ranked at a -3. Unfortunately, when the lot was packaged and uploaded, the business had to be reopened and started at rank 0.

One of the final touches was to get Jan bit by the leader of the pack. *giggles* There are no phones allowed in the challenge and the Sim isn't allowed to leave the lot, so by the time other players see her turn to a werewolf, the matchmaker will have been and gone. It's really too bad I can't program little pop-ups and surprises like Maxis can, I would've loved to have her bit by a vampire AFTER the others started playing.
